Keep Auckland Moving
The days of council rates and government taxation being the default funding instrument to deliver a mass transit system befitting an international city are fast coming to an end. Auckland’s challenge is to interrogate new methods for funding the multi-billion dollar transport projects in the Auckland Plan.
With the launch of Keep Auckland Moving today we get to restart the conversation. It won’t be an easy car ride finding a new way forward but critical we work together in finding new revenue tools.
