| Andy reported on financial results of walking map. Discussions with Mt Eden Business Assc. In the red for $1,244.23 Auckland City Council rejected WA request to help finance the Red Light Runner survey. We will look elsewhere for finance |

| Kit has ‘permission ‘ to upgrade part of the tracks on Mt Eden Cone. His aim is to gat walkways on the ‘Asset Register’ to secure future finance | Kit to follow up |
| Shared Paths Discussion on council policy of upgrading pedestrian walkways to accommodate sharing with cyclists and calling them Cycleways. WA suggests calling them Shared Paths Gaye – North Shore is developing a shared path from Devonport to Takapuna. At 2.5m wide and with a surface suitable for both cyclists and walkers. |
Future discussion 1. to define road rules for cyclists and pedestrians using Shared Paths. 2. To develop a separate ‘Walking Strategy’ for pedestrians View Tim Hughes manual |
