Article in 'Al Fresco' p8 re "issue of footpath rehabilitation programme" There appears to be a selection of 'types' of pavings at Motions Rd, near carpark opp the Zoo
All members are requested to check these choices and report to next meeting
Vivian reported on ARTA assessment policy on walkability.
Tested at road crossing and paths at New Lynn and Henderson, which proved to be 'appalling'. The walkability tool will be refined and tested again at 18 sites. Andy sent Kit's audit tool
V to reccommend that a variety of people in a variety of weathers and lighting should be factored in to the follow up surveys.
Bevan Woodward of Cycle Action Group has found a lost plan of Auckland Harbour Bridge which includes possibility for cycle/walkiing lane
