Trish reported back on the draft report from the regional walking and cycling group
'Sustainable Transport Plan'. 0800walk for pedestrian complaints is being worked out.
Can WA members assist in collecting baseline data usin Walkability Assessment Tools

WA requested that ea complaint has an identifiable number for follow up
Maps 4 Walkers - Active Mt Albert needs improving. Compare it to New Lynn which shows green spaces etc. Walking maps need to show schools, halls, Stations (bus & Rail) loos, MW under/over passes, parks, malls etc and routes to get there.

Andy has set up plastic pockets on lampposts at 3 Lamps holding police 'Community Roadwatch Report' pamphlets. These can be used to complain to police about dangerous driving

Walkauckland reports of inadequately laid tactile tiles in CBD still not acted on. Andy contacted Chris Orr who has already spoken to the mayor
