It was recommended that Council put survey peg type marks on footpaths to show how far a cafe, contractor or other can encroach

a, For Walkways in parks to qualify for public money we need to assume some 'paths' in parks go to 'public transport' eg to bus or shop
b, Re tactile paving to be relaid for the safety of the visually impaired - we were told that the 'Council' does not have the money. Photos were taken to the Blind Institute
c, No reply to request for crossing at Newton Rd
d, Grafton Bridge will remain open to pedestrian traffic while under repair

Graeme proposed setting up monthly walks with groups identifying walkways, the history, geology, botany and usefulness in getting from A to B
Graeme to contact Jeanine Brennan at ACC who are producing 7 maps of walkways. G to bring a plan to next meeting
