'Share the Road' safety campaign for Ponsonby Rd proposal was accepted by Claire Dixon Auckland City
Marie, Ron and Andy continue to plan this event for November
Walk Auckland supports International Car Free Day and will encourage all councils in the region to endorse one.
All to encourage a Car Free Day for Sept 21 in the following years
Kit suggested ACC road safety people look at the New North Rd/Dominion Rd pedestrian paths. WA did a field trip to the area last Friday
Clare Dison will walk the routes
Graeme Easte questions why the new Grafton Bridge has no footpath and suggest there will be an accident when people do walk over it.
Princess St by the Maidment theatre has a set of lights for crossing the road. We are talking with AUSA Scott Kelly to help make these favour people and not cars.
Open Space Strategy, Graeme Easte will follow this up and make submission on walkability
